la112On Saturday, March, 8, the Songs of Love Foundation held its inaugural Los Angles benefit at historic Mack Sennett Studios.
Many silent films were made there as well as current music videos like Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines”. There were amazing performances by Frank Stallone, Player featuring Ronn Moss and Peter Beckett, Amandla Stenberg (“Rue” of Hunger Games, w/ Dúo del Sol and Hawley), Blu Cantrell and Alanna and These Fine Gentlemen. The highlight of the evening was when the audience got to add their voices on a “song of love” for 9-year-old leukemia patient Logan Nobriga. Amandla Stenberg and Blu Cantrell sang the lead of Logan’s “song of love”. This will be the first of an annual event that will be held in Los Angeles.
